Adding Common Observations

1. Select a patient and open an encounter. See Searching for Patients and Opening an Encounter.
2. Start typing in the data entry bar.
3. A single letter triggers the relevant form, for example W triggers common observations beginning with W.

   Alternately, entering a numeric value eg 120/80 for a blood pressure or 65 for the choice of kg's triggers suggestions.

   

4. As you type, a list of short cuts display. You can swipe or scroll up or down to go through the list.
5. When you have found the required item, select it to add.
6. Press Done to finish.
